Hi! Boots on the ground or Lidar in the sky?

Time to put my name on the map. Been using aerial lidar surveys for a while now but thinking it might be time to add ground scanners to catch more corridor details. With all the data we can collect now, does anyone still swear by traditional ground shots or are they just nostalgia at this point? Thought I'd throw it out there and see where the lines are drawn.
