Best digital level

I need a digital level for use in the field, mostly for general construction and layout. I'm new to digital levels, so any suggestions on features to prioritize or brands that hold up well would be appreciated. I don't want something reliable I want the BEST Thanks.

I suggest focusing on top-tier models from Leica, Trimble or Topcon.
These are honestly an investment but they are professional-grade level.
Prioritize sub-millimeter accuracy (0.2mm/km), a high IP rating (IP54/55 minimum) for ruggedness, fast measurement speeds, and ample onboard memory with easy data transfer!

Check out the Stabila 36548 or Bosch GIM 120. Both are super accurate, rugged, and built for jobsite abuse. I agree with @LSurveySays_ but to add, it's a bonus if it has a hold function and auto-calibration. What kind of layout work are you doing most? Is it framing, concrete, or finish?

If you want the best and not just "reliable," you might have to swallow the price, because in this space, anything truly top-tier is gonna cost more than most people are willing to spend.
